If there were one word to describe Backbone Studio it wold be “flexible”. Backbone Studio can be tailored to match a musical style through acoustics, equipment or wiring. And with meticulous attention payed to detail, quality is foremost. Backbone Studio is also the perfect marriage between vintage equipment and modern technologies. Current state-of-the-art computers and the best in digital equipment are complimented by vintage microphones and pre-amplifiers. Backbone Studio’s flexibility is unparalleled. The entire building is wired with Mogami’s highest quality audio cable and has the capability of sending signals back and forth anywhere in the building. Above the Studio is the SkyLoft. The SkyLoft is an apartment for artists and producers to hang out during the session and is available as living quarters for extended session dates. With sleeping accommodations for six, a full kitchen, two living room areas with HD TV's, an XBOX 360 and a 40' wrap-around deck, it’s extremely comfortable and conducive to the creative process. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Backbone Studio is just west of the Devil’s Backbone State Park where there are many hiking and biking trails. There are golf courses nearby. With a twenty minute drive one can be in the scenic mountain town of Estes Park or venture five minutes further and enter Rocky Mountain National Park. While the studio is outside of Loveland, CO and isolated from the city, it is close enough to eat at any one of Loveland’s restaurants or go grocery shopping and make your own meal in the SkyLoft’s full kitchen. If it’s catering you want, we have connections to some of the best catering services along the front range. All you need to do is let us know what you want. |
